About the Programme
MBA is a two year full time programme. It is affiliated by RTU(KOTA) and approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The programme is built upon a SEMESTER system, which provides students a sound understanding of management theory and practice across the range of business management disciplines. The programme is designed to allow students to choose functional areas of Business Management such as MARKETING, HR AND FINANCE in their final year of study.
It attempts to prepare global leaders who create, manage and lead effective change across diverse organizations.
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
In the first year students learn the ability to communicate, analyze situations and take decisions using qualitative and quantitative factors, develop a holistic view of different functional areas and the business environment besides studying courses in general management and major functional areas.
In the second year the students take elective/operational courses and can specialize in
the functional areas of their choice, with advanced papers on strategic management. The theory papers are supplemented with case-studies, minor projects, exercises etc. to develop the study to conduct research.
The aims and objectives of the programme, which have been strategically refined, are:
- Imparting quality management education to students and working executives in shaping
their career to prepare
them for contemporary dynamic business environment.
- Offering the expertise to the industry, academia, government organizations, and non government
organizations in form
of research, development programmes and consultancy.
- Equipping participants with all skills required to face real life situations of the corporate world.
- Doing knowledge sharing discussions and other activities like conferences and seminars to contribute to academic development
- Building strong foundation for developing a value based understanding to handle corporate social responsibilities efficiently.
Salient Features of programme
- Students are given options to select electives in the discipline of marketing, finance, human resources and operations etc.
- Three to eight weeks of compulsory summer internship project followed by viva-voce to evaluate students.
- Eminent guest speakers from different domain space are invited to share their experiences with the students.
- Programme offers great learning experience to students by participation in conferences, seminars and summits.
