Dr. Raj Kumar Bansal is the prominent name in the field of Engineering Education and he is a versatile educationist with over 37 years of professional work experience. He has served as Principal cum Professor at Chitkara Institute of Engg. & Technology, Rajpura, Professor & Head, Electrical/Electronics Engg. Department at G.Z.S. college of Engg. & Tech., Bathinda (Punjab Govt. Institution), Professor & Head, Electrical/Electronics/CSE Deptt, C.R. State College of Engg., Murthal, Sonepat, (Haryana Govt. Institution), Asstt. Professor, Associate Professor & Professor, E.E. Deptt., P.A.U.,Ludhiana and as Senior Research Assistant at I.I.T. Kanpur.

He has guided a number of B.Tech projects, M. Tech Thesis and is guiding Ph.D. Thesis. He has delivered a number of Expert Lectures in technical workshops/ seminars. Further, he has organized & attended a number of National & International Conferences and has published a large number of research papers in International & National Journals.

He has been Chairman / Member of Board of Studies in Elect. Engg. for various universities like P.T.U. Jalandhar, Pbi. University, Patiala, M.D.U., Rohtak. He has also been an expert committee member for various inspection committees constituted by AICTE and different Universities.

He has written a book on 'MATLAB' published by a renowned International Publisher, 'Pearson Education' Dr. R.K. Bansal has his Ph.D. in Electrical Engg. from I.I.T. Kanpur, M.E. & B.E. (Electrical Engg.) from B.I.T.S. Pilani.
