As the Dean of the college, I welcome the visitors at S.G.I. I convey my best wishes to them who aspire to be the part of S.G.I. in one form or the another like being a student, faculty member, etc. I wish their association with S.G.I. to be the pleasant one.

Dr. (Er.) Aman Jain is an eminent scholar cum academician with holistic bent of mind and is associated with the SGI as the Dean (Faculty of Engineering).He has over 16 years of professional work experience in consultancy, research, teaching and industry. He is a qualified civil structural engineering professional and has ample amount of experience in civil engineering activities. He has assisted in the design of several multistoried buildings both in India and abroad and has done condition site survey of cross drainage structures like bridges and culverts. He has worked as 'Scientist Fellow' with the Central Government's Council of Scientific and Industrial Research organization 'Structural Engineering Research Centre, Ghaziabad'. He has worked as faculty member cum visiting faculty member at Thapar University, Patiala, Government Polytechnic, Ambala city, I.I.T. New Delhi, Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh,Regional Engineering College,(Now NIT),

Kurukshetra, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana & Maharishi Markendeshwar University, Ambala . Besides this, he has also worked as the visiting faculty member with the Norwegian institutions, like University of Oslo, etc.

Dr. (Er.) Aman Jain has his doctoral charter from the Norwegian Institutions and the President's Secretariat, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi acquired on the self appraisal basis. He is Master of Engineering from the Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh and Bachelor of Technology(Hons.) from Regional Engineering College, Kurukshetra. He has topped the result of his stream in the University at the Bachelor of Technology level.
